Voyage Unlimited, Inc.
is a New York
based 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit performing arts corporation
committed to the performance, recording, publication of and
education about new and existing chamber music for flute.

The corporation is poised to do great things.
Our primary mission is to enhance the chamber music
repertoire through arrangements and orchestrations of
existing works, and to promote and/or encourage new
compositions by today's composers.

Mission Statement
VOYAGE UNLIMITED, INC
will be operated at all times as a not-for-profit
organization for the charitable purposes of
furthering the advancement, education and promotion
of musical performance and repertoire for the flute.
The corporation shall foster an appreciation of
musical arts through concerts, performances,
exhibitions, lectures and demonstrations; and to
provide musicians with a vehicle to enable them to
display their abilities and works.
No part of the net earnings of the organization
shall inure to the benefit, or be distributable to
its members, trustees, officers, or other private
persons, except that the organization shall be
authorized and empowered to pay reasonable
compensation for services rendered and to make
payments and distributions in furtherance of the
purposes set forth in the purpose clause above.
The organization shall not carry on any other
activities not permitted to be carried on (a) by an
organization exempt from federal income tax under
section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or
corresponding section of any future federal tax code,
or (b) an organization, contributions to which are
deductible under section 170 (c) (2) of the Internal
Revenue Code or corresponding section of any future
federal tax code.
Projects
CONCERTS
Based in New York City, the 2008 concert
season begins Tuesday, October 7 at Christ & St.
Stephen's Church at 69th and Broadway, our
temporary home. Concerts will
present new and
existing chamber music for flute, strings,
piano, and other instruments, including
voice. Additional concerts will be held at
educational institutions, art museums, and at special events
throughout the United States.
Museum concerts will be
relevant to
current exhibits - historically, visually,
stylistically (an aesthetic approach to art,
music and ideas). Includes narrators and video
displays of related works of art.
COMMISSIONS
Voyage Unlimited will commission
new works for flute and string
quartet/string orchestra from
today's leading composers.
ORCHESTRATIONS
Polish
composer/arranger Adam
Manijak
will continue to arrange and
orchestrate new chamber music.
We are also developing an
international collaboration to fund
arrangements of works by Polish composer
and pianist Karol Szymanowski, considered
among the most influential composers of
the 20th century.
PUBLICATIONS
Falls House Press, distributed internationally
by Theodore Presser, is the publisher of
the ongoing Voyage Unlimited Series.
Enhancing the flute chamber music
repertoire, Series I will be available
Fall 2008.
RECORDINGS
Voyage
II
Repertoire will include standard
repertoire and new orchestrations by
composer/pianist
Adam Manijak.
Christmas
Tour Record favorite carols from around
the world arranged and orchestrated by
Adam
Manijak.
FILMS
Permission has been
granted by London composer John Rutter
to produce
a 20-minute film, staged and choreographed,
of
Suite
Antique
- flute, string orchestra (augmented), harpsichord, dancers,
lighting designer, set designer,
and film director.
The live stage version of this
production will be suitable for cruise
ships, festivals, educational
institutions, and special events.

issue of
Flute Talk
magazine, which
featured an
interview with VU president, Don
Bailey.
