Dr. LESLIE JONES
Executive Director of The Filomen M. D’Agostino
Greenberg Music School at Lighthouse International. She
holds a DMA from University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory
of Music, MM from the University of North Texas, and BA in
Music Education from Rowan University. She has served on the
faculties of Ithaca College and Montana State University and
is an accomplished and versatile pianist, performing as
soloist, chamber musician, collaborator, and jazz pianist.
At the Lighthouse, Dr. Jones has been instrumental in
developing an assistive music technology center, expanding
community outreach and visibility of the Music School, and
establishing collaborations with cultural organizations such
as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Roundabout Theatre Company,
and the New York Philharmonic. Dr. Jones is a strong advocate
of music accessibility issues nationwide. She is currently
involved in collaborating with music programs at the
university/collegiate level to develop internships and
partnerships. She is providing guidance in the revision of
music education curricula to include the special needs of
visually impaired students.
LARRY BAILEY
Board member of the Texas Flute Society, serving as Membership
Chairman and Webmaster. He is an amateur flutist from
Richardson, Texas and performs with the Plano Community
Band, the orchestra at First Baptist Church Plano, and with
the New Life Symphony Orchestra whose purpose is to raise
scholarship funds for students at Dallas Baptist University.
Larry is employed by Accenture as a designer/developer of
business application solutions and supports the Accenture
engagement at Texas Instruments in Plano.
DAWN ELLIS
Accountant with Brundige, Payne CPA's in Memphis, Tennessee
- 14 years experience in all aspects of accounting,
including non-profit organizations. Married for 15 years, she has two wonderful
daughters. Hobbies include anything her girls want to do
- dancing, soccer, cheerleading, riding horses, and FLYING!
EVA CUMMINS
Former banking executive, Human Resources professional.
Eva
was president of Business and Professional Women
(BPW), promoting "Women Helping Women", blood drives, and
providing a safe house for battered women and their
children.
She was also president of the Quota Club, a service
organization for the speech and hearing impaired.
